Designed in collaboration with Former Marine and renowned thru-hiker The Real Hiking Viking, the updated ZERK 40 pack stands out as the ideal combination of lightweight durability, comfort, and accessibility. The new version features added daisy chain attachment points, dual ice axe loops, dual side compression straps, and an embroidered design.

FUNCTION-FIRST: This is an ultralight hiking backpack designed for thru-hiking and other outdoor activities. It weighs only 1.9 lbs when empty and measures 22" x 14" x 10", with an optimal carry weight of up to 30 lbs.

STORAGE: The large main compartment can hold up to 40 liters of gear. The pack also features large side water bottle pockets with angled openings for easy access and an expansive front mesh pocket for carrying bulky items. Additionally, there are large mesh side stash pockets with angled openings for easy reach.

PRACTICAL: The pack has a roll-top closure with side compression SR buckles and opposing SR buckles for self-closing. It also includes reflective screen printing and cord loops for improved visibility in low light conditions. The front cord loops can be configured with the included bungee cord.

COMFORT: The pack comes with a 1.5" removable waistbelt, which has a maximum size of 48". The torso range is 16" - 19". The side compression straps help to secure the load throughout the entire pack. The removable interior laser-cut frame sheet (EVA Atilon) provides rigidity and airflow.
